Football fever is back in Deutschland. flags hung outside windows and cars, bets are made/writen on boards, T shirts and jerseys of every country taking part back in stores.

The only thing missing at the moment is the sun. it has been raining the past few days, making football nights spent at home. hopefully tomorrow it wont rain cos germany is playing! then we can go to the fan mile! not that i support the team, it's just fun watching the team of the country where u are residing play. the environment? feel? Stimmung lah in german, is total geil! sigh.. mir fehlt einfach die englischen wörter.

anyways, the feel is like watching hafiz hashim play in the thomas cup. u hate him, oklah, i hate him, but cheer for him because he wears my colors. and these germans are crazy for football. i am sorry, but i am happy/erleichtert that england didnt qualify. they are crazy on another level.

also, being only half an hour away from switzerland(hosts) makes the fever warmer.

am at the moment watching portugal play. it reminded me of watching a fifa world cup game in the stadium in frankfurt. portugal played. that was an experience of a lifetime. i wouldnt mind getting a ticket for a game for lets say... on the 21st?
