How do you describe facebook to the older generation?

Me: Rashid [bukan nama sebenar] ada girlfriend.
Aunty yoyo: How do you know?
Me : I saw on his facebook page. Got picture, and he tagged her as his girlfriend.
AY: What is this facebook?
Me: A website where you can put pictures and link your friends and family together.
AY: ooo... macam agensi carik jodoh lah?
Me: Tak tak... It connects people we know together, like me, I am connected with Azfar, and Lily, and Rashid also... among others. So they put up photos, or comments, and I can know what they are doing.
AY: ooo... but if u like someone, u can contact them lah. haaa... boleh lah carik jodoh.
Me: eh ... tak tak.... boleh lah kalau nak.. but thats not the whole point. it is to be connected to your friends, old schoolmates, family yg jarang jarang jumpa... like rashid lah, I long time never contact him, but I know he got girlfriend... like that lah.
AY: iye lah... but still, boleh carik jodoh kan?
Me: eh.. AY nih asyik jodoh je... haa.. ye la ye la... facebook mmg org buat carik jodoh pon.
AY: haaa... ape lagi... nina bila nak bukak facebook?
