i went for a dinner and dance recital friday night. there were performances from dance students like cha cha, twist and belly dance. but i think the highlight of the night was the mens belly dance competition.

They called out 7 guys from the audience, and had to imitate the belly dancers who had performed earlier. it was so funny. there was this one guy who could really shake his booty, but i think he maybe dance for a living? the other guys were so sporting as well.. they even had to wear the belt thingy.

there was this pakcik, who also tried to shake, but looked more like vibrating. priceless was his face. sungguh seronok ok die melihat punggung kakak kakak itu. ada cheeky smile lagi.

i enrolled to the group late, or else, i would have also wanted to join the dance recital and shake me some booty. i wonder if there is an active belly dance group in penang?
